First prize on competition – Final design and detail drawings The livability of a city today is measured primarily on the capacity it has to invite the people to follow it, to cross it by bicycle, to stand in the space. What we interested in investigating with this project then, is an idea of the city as a meeting place, in which the empty space is seen as an opportunity to draw relationships between different things (buildings, people, activities, flows etc.), to tell the quality of life that takes placeinside, through an idea that holds together a sequence of spaces of the outside, those of all, where all individuality it is recognized as part of a community, as part of a “we.” design with ROSSIPRODI ASSOCIATI

First Prize on Competition – Under Construction House for suffering children. Questo progetto muove le sue ragioni dall’interpretazione di due temi primari: l’accoglienza umana e la figurazione dell’ambiente domestico. Da subito le immagini che sono apparse imprescindibili ai nostri occhi, quella di un abbraccio confortante e la semplice sezione a capanna di una casa disegnata dai bambini, hanno costituito i segni e le volontà rispetto i quali svolgere il progetto. Inseguendo queste due figure abbiamo pensato ad un edificio continuo, che si configurasse spazialmente attorno ad un luogo verde e salutare; che evidenziasse nella sua continuità, interrotta solo dal varco d’ingresso, quell’abbraccio ideale verso chi vi accede, e infine che ritrovasse nel suo sviluppo longitudinale quella sezione archetipica a doppia falda, semplice ed esemplare, del linguaggio infantile.
